Lindauer DORNIER GmbH is one of the world's technology leaders with its weaving machines, film stretching lines and composite systems product lines. In 2023, the German family-owned company with around 1,000 employees achieved a turnover of 350 million euros. DORNIER weaving machines meet all the requirements of modern fabric production: flexible and gentle use of materials, extreme material and pattern diversity, absolute functional reliability, flawless fabric and short downtimes. The DORNIER system family, consisting of rapier and air-jet weaving machines, is the contemporary answer to the demanding requirements of the market. In the Composite Systems division with the P2 roving weaving machine, 3D weaving machine, tape production system and tape weaving machine, the machine manufacturer combines its decades of experience in the design of weaving machines and film stretching systems. All machines and systems are manufactured at the German production sites in Lindau and Esseratsweiler. The export share is over 95 percent (as of 2023).
